I figured I’d show close ups of the paintings I’ve done recently. Back when I first started using Photoshop it took me so long to paint things because I would spend so much time perfecting the piece. But then I took classes and learned from various tutorials and found a style that got the job done and still looked pretty good from far away. What’s up there is the actual size of the works.
I’ve been asked a lot as to how I go about painting in Photoshop. I livestream every now and then, so that’s a good way to see it, but if you’re not into watching streams, I’ll just tell you! :D I fit the canvas to my screen, plot the colors out, and I rarely zoom in for details. I’ll use maybe three brushes in total. The close up version of my personal works will only be interesting to those who enjoy random lines.
Usually the more refined parts of the painting are generally faces for me, because I like for faces to be the focal point.
My commissioned pieces are more refined and better suited for printing. Those up there are just ideas I wanted to get down on the canvas before they ran away!
